How is ice nucleation performed in clean rooms?
Conventionally ice nucleation is performed using forceps, cotton buds etc which have been cooled in liquid nitrogen, a practice which is not be compatible with the clean room environment. We provide a cryopen (link) which allows ice nucleation without compromising the sterility of clean rooms.
