Is sticking of straws and cryovials to the sample plate a problem?
If the surface of the cryocontainers are wet when they are placed onto the sample plate of the EF600 they can stick to the sample plate during freezing and be difficult to remove. If there is any possibility that straws or cryovials are wet, for example following chilling in iced water, they should be dried before being placed on the sample plate of the EF600.
