The cryopreservation protocols routinely used in IVF and biotechnology are simply and easily achieved in our controlled rate freezers. However, an understanding of the basic principles of cryobiology is desirable to ensure that the methodology is correctly applied and cell damage is minimised during the processes of freezing and thawing.
