Asymptote crystal engineering

Asymptote has developed technology for crystal engineering, both from supersaturated and supercooled systems. Illustrtaed in an example showing nanocrystals with internal voids.

Our knowledge of crystallisation in industrial situations can be exploited for a wide range of applications, including preventing scale build up in the offshore oil industry, preventing sugar bloom in foodstuffs and controlling ice crystal size for freeze dying processes.
